You Belong is comprised of a small group of passionate people devoted to empowering individual, family and community health and wellbeing. We strive for improved quality of service and quality of life for those impacted by mental illness. We believe mental healthcare is just as important as medical healthcare. Though we come from all walks of life, we share a common goal – to provide education and support for those impacted by mental illness.

The concept of You Belong stems from the personal experience of caring for a loved one suffering from mental illness. Firsthand frustration with misconceptions and stereotypical thoughts towards those who suffer with mental illness as well as insufficient care, resources, and support gave birth to the idea that there is room for improvement.
You Belong aspires to promote mental health as an essential part of overall wellness. Our primary objectives include early identification and intervention for those at risk and to provide education and support for family and friends. You Belong aims to provide integrated care through partnership with professionals and services that share our vision to educate, treat and support those affected.
You Belong is a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where all employees and volunteers, whatever their gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation or identity, education or disability, feel valued and respected. We are committed to a nondiscriminatory approach and provide equal opportunity for employment and advancement in all our departments, programs, and worksites. We respect and value diverse life experiences, heritages and ensure that all voices are heard.
